In her Louboutins

When it comes to fashion, editors rule the world. We care what they think. We need their approval. They can make or break a brand or a trend. They always look insanely put together and have the uncanny ability to make you second guess any outfit, regardless of how confident you once were. Being a fashion editor is kind of like being Regina George. Ok, fine... they are way nicer than Regina, and who am I kidding, they don't really have time to eat lunch... so you could never even try to sit with them anyway.

On the 5th day of New York Fashion week, I had the honor of playing editor and shadowing Claudia Mata, W Magazine's Accessories and Jewelry Director. The night before, while prepping my outfit, I began to fantasize about which insanely amazing, high-rise, stilettos I would wear. Shortly after, I received an email from Claudia (who BTW is 5 1/2 months pregnant), which included the schedule for the next day that read:

9am- The Row show

10am- Carolina Herrera show

11am- Tommy Hilfiger show

12pm- Deskside in office with jeweler Noor Fares

1pm- Fashion shoot run thru with

Edward Enninful

3pm- Philip Lim show

4pm- Donna Karan show

5pm- Dannijo jewelry presentation

6pm- Back to office

7.30pm- quick dinner with W editors (

Sam Milner,

Nora Milch,

Lindsey Frugier

)

9.30pm- W Magazine "Generation W" Party

11.30pm- After party

I'M CALLING THE LOOK: "Fashion week maternity".

MY BAG IS: the Louis Vuitton Speedy Bandoulière 25 in earth. I can only carry something this size when I know I'll have a car service (like for shows). Otherwise, I carry a bigger bag since I leave my house fully loaded!

I'M OBSESSED WITH: my Pamela Love spike earrings! I love them so much, I bought them in both silver and gold. (I usually prefer not to repeat, but I couldn't help myself with these...)
