Last week I realized that posting my exercise routine on Pinterest does not count as working out. Apparently, as soon as I heard the word "October", I put on a baggy cashmere sweater and proceeded to come up with every excuse in the book as to why I couldn't make it to the gym. It was all fun and games until I realized we are about three minutes away from leather pants season and I now have banana rolls (upper back thigh fat) to tend to. I am sure you know from all of my preaching that the reason you never quit the gym is because once you do, returning is like not drunk texting your ex... (impossible). My only advice here is to sign up for over-priced classes and basically guilt yourself into going. My first week back always consists of at least two P57 classes. Physique 57 is great for easing in because if you are out of shape, you can start with "beginner". Plus, it's a class full of chicks shaking their hips to Britney Spears...sold. After 3 or 4 P57 classes I add in Barry's Boot Camp. It's tough, but the results are incredible... and I have always been into instant gratification. Other gym tips include: watching the Victoria Secret Fashion Show while on the stair stepper and wearing short shorts in front of the mirrors.. you will be surprised how many squats you can actually do when face to face with the enemy.
